Why We Must Vote My friends, we are living in scary times. There is a Democrat party that cannot accept that Donald Trump is in the White House. The Democrats are trying to take away our vote, “steal our right“ to say who we wanted to be the leader of our country back on Election Day 2016 by impeaching Donald Trump. This should infuriate every single American, no matter which side of the fence you are on. If you are a Democrat it could happen when your guy or gal is in there, too, because fair is fair! Let’s just dig right in and discuss why we MUST vote in the next election: If you believe in the Electoral College system, then you must vote. Many of the Democrats have stated that they want to abolish the Electoral College. The Electoral College is in favor of giving all states a voice. Many Democrats believe that the Electoral College is giving less populated states too much power in deciding who the next President will be. Most Democratic candidates presently running for President in the 2020 election have admitted that they want to get rid of the Electoral College and we know why. Because small town America, flyover states and the southern states aren’t drinking their liberal Kool-Aid. The Democrats would prefer the larger, mostly liberal, states like New York, California, Illinois, Washington State and Oregon to decide who our next President will be. This would mean deciding by popular vote. Of course, they would prefer to employ the Popular Vote system (meaning that the most populated cities in the country should decide our President) as it would mean that middle America and the smaller, less populated states would never again have a say in who the leader the free world would be. If you believe in the 2nd amendment, then you must vote. It’s not hard to find “progressive” Presidential candidates and other Democrats who want to take away Americans' right to protect themselves. Take Virginia, for instance. Governor Ralph Northam of VA has threatened to punish law enforcement officials if they refuse to enforce the new law forcing all gun owners to register their firearms. Many counties in the state of VA have declared themselves as sanctuary cities for the 2nd amendment since Northam began trying to enforce this. Some law enforcement officers in VA have even stated that they will not enforce this law. A Democratic congressman in VA has threatened to send the National Guard out to enforce this if normally law-abiding citizens do not comply with their wishes. I think we all know what comes after gun registration…. gun confiscation. They keep bringing up mass shootings as an excuse to remove guns from law abiding citizens. Their saying that guns cause mass shootings is like saying cars cause drunk driving deaths. They say that taking away guns will prevent deaths; so, by their logic, cars cause drunk driving fatalities therefore no one should ever be allowed to drive a vehicle again. These far lefties have gone so far off the ledge that maybe that’s their next wish…. to take away vehicles and force us all to use public transportation. Any possible way they can think of to control people; that is their wish. If you like to choose your doctor (aka) healthcare provider, then you must vote. I do not know how anyone with common sense would think that it would be a good idea for the government to control our healthcare. For anyone who defends this proposition please ask them how much they enjoy going to the DMV (government run). The Veterans Affairs agency is also terribly run by our government. Our poor Veterans have been treated horribly by this agency and been made to suffer awful wait times to be seen and treated. What in the world makes people believe, when Bernie and Pocahontas say they are going to force us into “Medicare for all,” it would be a good idea? Our government cannot even take care of our Veterans' health care needs! The most recent statistics show that only 9 million Veterans a year use the VA hospitals. If a government run VA cannot treat and care for 9 million Vets in a timely manner, then why would anyone believe that it (our government) could take care of the health and well-being of approximately 327 million people?! That’s about how many people would be on Medicare For All. Democrats will constantly try to say that socialized medicine, or Medicare For All, “works great in Canada”. Well that’s fine and dandy for a country of roughly 38 million people. Again, the USA has around 327 million people. Medicare for all would cause longer wait times for surgeries, longer wait times to be actually seen by a specialist and, more than likely, there would be a shortage of doctors and surgeons. Let’s be honest, who wants to go to school for 8 to 12 years just get out of school and make a government salary? No one, that’s who. If you like lower taxes, then you must vote. Thanks to President Trump, the middle class has gotten a boost in their pay via the tax cuts. When Democrats say that the cuts only helped the wealthy, they are just flat out lying. Most blue-collar workers have seen an increase in their weekly paychecks, which means a boost in the economy because people spend more. This is what most Republicans believe. Republicans typically believe that lower taxes allow people to spend more, thus helping the economy. On the other hand, most Democrats believe the opposite. Democrats want to raise taxes on the middle class and place more restrictions on businesses (see the Obama era). People then have less money to take home in their paychecks due to higher taxes, and the economy tanks sending us into a recession. This is why, if you want a healthy economy, you must vote Republican. If you don’t believe that your hard-earned money should pay for abortions, then you should vote. The Hyde Amendment which passed in 1976 prohibits federal tax dollars from paying for abortions. The only exceptions are in cases of incest, rape and for the wellbeing of the mother. In 2016, the Democratic platform made a call to repeal the Hyde Amendment and it wasn’t long ago that Governor Northam of VA supported a state measure to allow third trimester abortions. He literally said it would be ok to let a baby be born and if, at that point, the physician and patient decided that she didn’t want it to live, legally she and the physician could terminate that baby’s life right then. Yes, that’s right, the progressive left is ok with murdering babies as soon as they come out of the womb. Don’t believe me? Research “Governor Ralph Northam third term abortion” and read his exact words. This leads to the discussion of Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood is our Nation’s largest abortion provider. From 2013 to 2015 they received $1.5 billion in tax payer dollars. Nope, that’s not a typo. That’s 1.5 billion taxpayer dollars going to the nation’s largest abortion provider. In 2016, after congress sent a letter to the Government Accountability Office, the report showed that between 2015-16, Planned Parenthood was performing fewer breast exams, fewer cancer screenings, performed fewer HPV vaccinations compared to 2014 and provided fewer prenatal services than the year before. They did, however, perform several thousand more abortions than the year before. In fact, one report stated that they (Planned Parenthood) performs 83 abortions to every 1 adoption referral. Planned Parenthood wants the public to believe that they provide a wide range medical care for women’s services, but the truth is that they provide more abortions than they provide women’s care. According to another report, Planned Parenthood conducted approximately 325,000 abortions in 2018. Think about that for a moment. That is over a quarter of a million babies murdered in 2018. The Trump Administration and Republicans in Congress are trying their best to defund Planned Parenthood. No one has a right to take the life of an unborn child, not even the mother. Children are God's seed and no one has the right to take what is God's. If you believe if the 1st amendment, then you must vote. The first amendment states that congress should establish no law prohibiting the free exercise of religion. Most of us by now have heard stories about many different pastry chefs refusing to bake wedding cakes for gay couples. We have also heard of the bakeries being sued, slandered, closed down because they are standing up for their religious beliefs. Most of these chefs stated that they could not, in good faith, bake a cake for a gay couple because it simply went against their personal biblical Christian beliefs, which is that marriage should be between a man and a woman as stated in Genesis of the Bible. The left goes into full rage mode when they hear of these types of situations. Every liberal media outlet tries to expose these bakeries as homophobic people that hates gays and do their best to shut them down when all the bakeries are doing is standing up for their religious beliefs, which should never be compromised. The first amendment says that congress cannot infringe upon our right to practice our religion freely. I bet if a gay couple went into a Muslim bakery and requested a cake for their wedding and the bakery owner refused that there would be crickets from the liberal media. The liberal media abhor Christians. Christians have become the most persecuted religious group in the world. President Trump signed an executive order to protect religious liberty under law and reduce the burdens of the exercise of the Freedom of Religion. The far left is also trying to infringe upon our freedom of speech. Conservative speakers have every right to speak on college campuses. All across the country when a conservative is speaking or holding a rally at a campus, Antifa or other far left progressive protesters will try to shut down the event. The progressive Democrats hate the conservative movement and are doing everything in their power to resist and shut down conservatives. They are also trying to say that everything is “hate speech” unless it fits their narrative. That’s why the first amendment is so important. It protects the people and allows us Freedom of Speech anywhere, no matter who agrees with us or whether it’s truthful or not. This is one reason why they despise Trump, because he uses his right to freedom of expression to go on Twitter and speak his truth. Thanks to the first amendment, he can do that as we all can. If Democrats have their way, they would repeal the first amendment because they don't want anyone to be able to hear the truth and call them out on their lies. We have the right as Americans to say what we want to say. That’s why we must vote Republican, because the democrats want to take away our right to free speech and declare it to be hate speech, unless it’s something they agree with. If you care about the safety of our great nation, then you must vote. President Trump and the Republicans are doing their very best to keep our country safe. President Trump ran on “building a wall” because he understands the importance of protecting our borders. Never have we had a President that cares so much about keeping us safe. The Democrats have fought him in every way possible to keep him from achieving his promise to build the wall. It should disgust and anger every single American how the Democrats want open borders with no regard to the safety of Americans or the burden that it puts on the taxpayers to provide for thousands of illegals that cross our border every year. If you believe in protecting our great country from being overrun by illegal aliens, then you must vote Republican, because this is the party that will protect our borders. If you like to live in a country with law and order, then you must vote. Many Democrats want to reduce the number of police officers that we have on our streets. This started with Obama. He started the anti-police rhetoric. Then he nominated liberal judges to the courts that have been fighting President Trump in every way possible when it comes to law and order. The Democrats want to take authority away from police officers, which prevents them from defending themselves in dangerous situations. Since Obama, police officers have been treated so badly that some cities now have a dangerously low police staff. Let’s be honest, who wants to be a police officer if you cannot defend yourself or have to deal with a lack of respect on a daily basis? Thankfully, we now have in office the most pro-police President that our country has ever had. He has been very vocal about supporting our officers. He signed an executive order to put into practice ways to recruit, train and support law enforcement officers. He made hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of military equipment available to local law enforcement. He also signed an executive order to prevent violence against law enforcement officers. If you care about the things I just mentioned, you must vote at every election. You must vote Republican up and down the ticket for all elections. Even the small, local elections that you think won’t matter. For the President to achieve the promises he made to the American people, he must have support in congress to do so. The only way for that to happen is to vote Republican, especially in the next election. We must vote to keep the Senate under Republican control. Heaven help us all if the Democrats get majority power in the Senate and office of the Presidency. There hasn’t been a time in history where our freedoms hang so desperately in the balance.
